About Us

Uncle Beehive’s Ice Cream began in 2023 as a small passion project rooted in a love of great ice cream and local ingredients. What started over 10 years ago as experimenting with recipes and sharing batches with friends and family gradually grew into something we wanted to share with the broader community. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: make truly high-quality ice cream using thoughtful ingredients and a small-batch approach that lets us focus on flavor, texture, and creativity in every batch.

We make our ice cream in small batches using high-quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Our base is hand-mixed using fresh cream and milk from an Amish dairy in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. We use organic cane sugar and agave syrup and focus on letting the natural flavor of ingredients shine rather than simply adding sweetness. Many of our flavors incorporate locally sourced ingredients, including chocolate and coffee, and seasonal fruit from nearby orchards. Each batch is spun in our US-made Emery Thompson small-batch machine, allowing us to carefully control texture and quality.
